Dr. Julia Lönnendonker has been working in Research Support Services in the area of funding advice since April 2024. She provides advice on various funding agencies and formats in all phases of an application.

Dr. Julia Lönnendonker studied Geography, Political Sciences and Media Studies at the University of Bonn and Journalism at Emerson College in the USA. She completed her doctorate at the Institute for Journalism at TU Dortmund University. She worked as a research associate at the Institute of Journalism at TU Dortmund University and the Erich Brost Institute for International Journalism. She then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Vrije Universiteit Brussels and as a lecturer at Deutsche Welle.
