Begin: End: Location: Online via Zoom

The complex "dissertation project" requires good time and self-management: Doctoral researchers do not only have to make sure that the research process advances, but they also have to organize courses and balance work and leisure time with the doctoral thesis. Problems with time management in the doctorate often arise in phases in which there are difficulties with the content, communication in the supervision process or other challenges in the research process. In addition, it is often not easy to maintain motivation for the long-term research project – this also leads to delays in the dissertation process. In this workshop, the participants become familiar with self-management techniques in order to plan their own resources sensibly. This applies, for example, to prioritizing or delegating tasks, analyzing and eliminating "time wasters", creating clear objectives and defining sub-steps in planning task. Furthermore, the participants learn how to remotivate themselves in "dry spells".
