Dr.-Ing. Ronja Scholz

Ronja Scholz has been working in the Research Support Services as a Research Support Consultant with a focus on the Excellence Strategy since August 2024. She supports and advises on strategic research proposals of the University Alliance Ruhr, in particular the University of Excellence Joint Application.

Ronja Scholz studied Sales Engineering and Product Management (SEPM) at the Ruhr University Bochum. She then moved to the Chair of Materials Test Engineering (WPT) at the TU Dortmund University in 2014, where she completed her doctorate on the technical performance of sustainable cellulose-based material systems in 2021. She has been head of the Composite and Natural Materials Group at the WPT since 2019. Due to her many years of experience and leading function in project management as well as the independent preparation of research proposals, she was able to gain valuable experience in research management.
