The European Research Council (ERC) funds excellent scientists and their teams with groundbreaking research projects in various funding lines for the appropriate career stage.
The target group of ERC Starting Grants (StG) are excellent young researchers at the beginning of an independent career. The funding line Consolidator Grants (CoG) addresses excellent promising scientists who already lead their own independent research group.
